The Nightly #World #News Report of the 22nd of October 2012

On this night of Barak Obama and Mitt Romney talking foreign policy for their last debate before their Presidential Election. I want to write of Syria again. I heard for a while that their Civil War can reach to other nations enveloping the Middle East. I wonder when, how, and where that will happen. In the past few days it has spread to Jordan and Lebanon in addition to Turkey, who has been having problems with Syria for a while.
This morning 16 rebels tried to enter Jordan by the border of Syria, and Jordan repelled their advance. Four of the rebels were killed as well as Jordan's Corporal Mohammed Ali al-Manasir.
You probably heard already of the very powerful car bombing in Lebanon, killing the national security chief Brigadier general Wissam al-Hassan among eight people killed and seventy-eight injured. Wissam was a most prominent Sunni leader, who "foiled Syria-linked terror plot."  Violent protests have erupted calling the Sunni Prime Minister Najib Azmi Mikati   to resign. Many people have been injuried, and four people were killed in gunfights. The Grand Serail Palace, the Government Headquarters for the Prime Minister was invaded by protests yesterday.
I hope that the Syrian Revolution can be resolved as soon as possible. It has been going on for nearly two years, and the situation is getting more deadly and spreading.
